Dear all,
This would be our second last prayer meeting before the end of the semester, may all of you be progressing well towards the end of the
semester. Please join us at this last opportunity if you could. It
will be conducted at the Pan's residence as usual, 421 Karen Ave.
DeKalb, Il 60115 (tel. 815-758-8627), from 5:30pm to 6:30pm this
comming Monday (April,6, 2009).
Recently, prof. Wu is hospitalised again due to unexplained seizures
on his right cheek. A minor problem as it might seem, it is becomming
a major problem because of his difficulty in swallowing (as a result,
it makes it impossible for him to eat or to take medication orally).
We shall continue to pray for His Will and His Mercy for this family.
Throughout the semester, the Lord has answered a lot of our prayers,
may Him continue to show His Ways and His Power in all sort of things.
The Wu's family has indeed gone through so many complications that it
has become exceedingly stressful to them (particularly for him and his
wife). May the Lord sustain them as well as those who are supporting
them.
For the rest, we shall continue to pray for our students in their works
and in their financial situations. Due to the depressed economy, many
of them are facing all kinds of financial uncertainties. May many of
you join us in your private prayers (if you could not join us for all
kinds of reasons yet your heart is with us).
Let us try to experience the the Peace and Power of the Lord in this time of hardships and troubles. Indeed, let us listern to Paul's words:
" Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your
hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."
St. Paul (philippian 4/6--7).
The Lords bless you all,
The DeKalb chinese bible class prayer group.
