Dear all,
This is the DeKalb Chinese bible class prayer group again, we have not
been holding meeting for a long while since last Summer.
The greatest pity of Mankind is in cutting themselves off from the
Living God who is the Ultimate Source, Meaning and Power of their lives.
Time from time, we are so overwhelmed with our own ambitions, troubles
and planning that we have forsaken Him by kicking Him out of our lives
(even for us, His own children), till we run into sadness and grieveness
we should then be waken up from our long spiritual sleep.
That is why we want to restart our prayer meetings even though it is
already at the end of the year 2011. We shall start our prayer meetings
before the year is over. It will be on:
Monday (Nov. 7), from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm at the Pan's Residence located
at 421 Karen Avenue, deKalb, IL 60115 (Tel: 815-758-8627)
It will be once every two weeks as before. As for this Monday, we shall
pray for all students as this semester is comming to an end. We shall
also pray for those who are in emotional needs. economical needs and in
all kinds of needs (who are depressded and discouraged).
So, if you have certain things that you want us to remember in prayers,
please let us know. You are also welcome to join us and pray with us.
