Dear all,

Welcome back, we hope all of you had a wonderful break and each of you've
come back safe and sound. Tomorrow, 3/20 (Tuesday) at 5 pm, we are going to have our 2nd prayer meeting of this semester. It will be conducted at Pan's residence as usual (421 Karen Avenue, DeKalb, IL 60115).

All of you are welcome to join us, we actually had a very warm and loving time praying for the Chinese community in DeKalb as well as praying for each other last time.

We are right in the middle of a semester which is usually a stressful time. Let us cheer up and revitalize ourselves, you will be surprised how
the Lord could revive you. Indeed, the source of power does not reside with our ownselves, but with Him, our sole Creator from whom all the good things flow. It is pitiful that we are not aware of that, not even among most Christians who have proclaimed Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Most
of the time, we are so preoccupied with our problems and have forgotton about our Ultimate Source of Power. Let us share with you the following Biblical Passage from James 1/16--18 :

" Do not be deceived (by our ownselves ?), my beloved friends. Every good
endowment and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of
Light with whom there is no variation or shadows of change. By His Own Will he brought us forth by the word of truth that we should be a kind of
frist fruit of His creatures."

This is a pretty difficult passage, but to all those who have followed Him
including John and Ruth Peterson, they could "echoe" to this passage whole
heartedly ( during their 50 years of ministry even if both their daughters
have been diagnosed with cancer recently).

So we shall continue to pray for their family and the rest of us here.
