Dear all,
Tomorrow from 5:00pm to 6:00pm will be our prayer meeting again. This week
turns out to be the "Easter Week" the last week Jesus spent before He went
to the Cross and died for our sins. Three days after His Crucifixion, He
was raised from Death and conquered the greatest enemies of Mankind ----
Sin and Death. We shall use our prayer meeting tomorrow to commemorate all
these events, to have reflections upon ourselves, pray for ourselves and
others. pls. join us or let us know what we could pray for you. The prayer
meeting will be at Pan's residence as usual (421 Karen Avenue, Il 60115).
Though you may think of Jesus's Resurrection as only a legend or even a
supersitition, it is regarded by a lot of historians as among the most
truthful historic record, with overwhelming evidences. This is what makes
Christianity unique and stands out from all other religion and philosophy.
The most important piece of evidence is however, not through historical
research, but through the testimonies of those who have experienced His
Great Power and Presence in their own lives. Indeed, this Jesus, who was
crucified and raised from Death 2000 years ago, whose tomb is now empty
(where you could still visit nowadays in Israel), He could meet you and
touch you, and convert your life into a most abundant one, if you would
allow Him to do it.
This Saturday, we have a meeting with a potluck dinner begining at 5:00pm,
please come and join us and listern to the Easter Message about His
Ressurection. Give Him a chance so that he could talk to you.
"I am the Ressurection and the life, he who believes in me, though he die,
yet shall live, and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die."
"I will not leave you desolate, I will come to you. Yet a little while,
the world will see me no more, but you will see me; because I live and you
will live also."
Please listern to His Powerful Words. Jesus Christ said this right before
His Crucifixion and Ressurection 2000 years ago. These sayings remain true
and verifiable for those who have accepted Him into their lives.
May the Easter Message and Joy become truthful to you as to us.
