Dear all,

We are now in the middle of the semester, we understand that a lot
of us are overwhelmed by our heavy works and duties. Our Bible class
would like to have a movie night to cheer you up. We are going to
show a good movie called  "Mission".

The movie was filmed at the remote highlands over the water-falls in
South America. The natural scene of the movie is very exquisite with
those majestic waterfalls as its background. So is the musical score
of the movie, it was composed by the well-known Italian composer Morricone Leone (among those beautiful tones is this celebrated one,
"The Gabriel's Horn", which is a flute concerto. It has been performed
by numerous symphony orchestras all over the world). So, even if you
are not too religiously oriented, you will still find the movie very soothing and touching. The time of the story was at the period when
Spain and Portugal were expanding their colonialism over the continent
of South America. The main character in the story (acted by Robert
DeNiro) was formerly a slave trader who later on repented to the Lord because of an most painful and unfortunate incidence in his life. After his conversion, he fought with his spiritual mentor, the one who was
responsible for converting him (acted by Jeremy Irons) to protect those primitive tribes on the highlands from being enslaved. Thus, he has
turned from a slave trader to a slave protector. The climax of the
movie ended at how he sacrificed his life for them.

We promise you that it will be a rewardable movie for you to watch. we
hope that your tiresome and troubled mind could take a break and get revived spiritually. Indeed, life is more than just studying, exams and fighting for your livings (though there is nothing wrong with that and
is inevitable for all of us). Snacks would be served so as to make it
more entertaining for you :)
